Air Pollution May Increase Risk of Stillbirth

“Pregnant women exposed to higher concentrations of common air pollutants may be at increased risk of still birth.” says a study from the American Journal of Epidemiology published in Environmental Health News.  ”Rates of stillbirth are higher in the United States than in many other developed countries….Exposure to air pollution during pregnancy has already been linked to poor birth outcomes, such as preterm birth, low birth weight and intrauterine growth restriction.”  Read the full article here.
